Family Planning

Please make an appointment to see your doctor or our Family Planning Nurse.

Ante Natal Clinics

Ante natal clinics are held at the surgery on Monday mornings by our Midwife Jan Partridge. It is important that expectant mothers are seen regularly to ensure that both she and the baby are progressing well. Each clinic is run by the midwife with a doctor available if necessary. Please book your first appointment during 8 to 10 weeks of your pregnancy.

Post Natal Checks

Normally with the Nurse with a doctor available as necessary.

Cervical Cytology (Smear Tests)

The computerised recall system will remind you when to make an appointment with a practice nurse.

Health Visitor Clinics

Health Visitor clinics are held fortnightly on Tuesday afternoon. Please call the surgery to book an appointment. Health visitors can be contacted on 01453 562358.

Child Health Clinic

Usually the 1st and 3rd Tuesday afternoon in the month. We monitor your child's growth and development and maintain their immunisation status.

Well Person Check

A brief discussion and examination can often identify preventable health problems. Please arrange an appointment with a member of our nursing team

Health Promotion

For advice on how to lead a healthier lifestyle including weight management and smoking cessation please make an appointment to see a member of our nursing team.

Minor Surgery

Provide by Drs Higgs, Walshe, Corston and Basu by appointment.

Diabetic Clinic

Regular check-ups for all diabetic patients is strongly advised. You will be advised when your appointment is due.

Asthma and COPD Services

Regular check-ups for all asthma and COPD patients is strongly advised. Please make an appointment with the Practice Nurse if your appointment is due or if you are experiencing symptoms.
